The word child protégé is an often-used phrase in the music industry today, but in the case of Saisha Rae it is a description that truly represents her vocal and song writing talents. Starting singing at the age of two, she was selected to appear on Voice Kids Season 3 Philippines at the age of 7 where she caught the attention of judges Lea Salonga, Bamboo and Sharon Cuneta.
Although not making it to the finals, it gave her the impetus to build on her talent and rise to the challenge of developing her abilities in a more adult way.
Still only 17 years of age, her voice has matured and added that vibrance and texture that only comes with the experience and commitment that an artist requires to get to the next level. Able to soar effortlessly above her abundant keyboard skills, she has covered artists from Celine Dion to Adele, from Mariah Carey to Christine Aguilera, and any modern powerhouse vocalist you care to mention.
